memo
  • Schoo adopts a freemium model. It is free to watch any number of streaming lectures and to communicate with other students, but free users can view only one recorded lecture a month. Paid users who pay 525 yen per month can view an unlimited number of recorded lectures. Retaining paid users would be a challenge for the service because it seems not easy to keep them learning something continuously.
