US-based Treasure Data providing cloud service for Data Ware House announced to raise 5 million dollars from US's VC, Sierra Ventures. Treasure Data was founded by Japanese engineers in 2011 at Mountain View.

Treasure Data's DWH service is based on Hadoop, open source software enabling distributed batch process.
